Concept & Development

Working with Lifeware Labs was an eye opening experience, helping to market a truly life-saving device. We knew we had to go all out on this one, so we spend quite a bit of time in pre-production, storyboarding and conceptualizing a cinematic war zone sequence where the device would be demonstrated in context. We acquisitioned an MRAP (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicle at a depot in Southern California. Then it came time to hire actors and find realistic military garb.

Outcome

The other piece to this project was the CG elements, breaking apart the actual ProPatch™ device, which had to be 100% accurate. So we worked with the original CAD files and integrated all of the actual EKG metrics recorded using the device. The final result blends seamlessly between the live-action elements and the digital ones.
